B.B. King and Governor Haley Barbour Visit B.B. King Museum!

|

Look Who Stopped By!

This year's B.B. King Homecoming festivities kicked off with a visit from Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour and our own B.B. King!

Governor Barbour and First Lady Marsha Barbour stopped in Indianola to tour the B.B. King Museum while B.B. himself was in town. Accompanied by the King of the Blues, the Barbours enjoyed a two-hour tour of the exhibits, films, and B.B.'s personal stories.

Afterwards, the trio met with students from the Museum's Art of Living Smart Summer Program.

Students had a blast talking with the Governor and First Lady about all that they are learning in their music class. B.B. King joined the students in their classes on nutrition, wellness, music and dance.
