Tommy Castro - Rick Estrin & The Nightcats Performing In NW Washington November 2010

|

Hard BelieverBlues/roots guitarist and vocalist Tommy Castro will perform in the Seattle area and Northwest Washington from November 9-13, 2010. Castro will be performing songs from his Alligator Records debut, Hard Believer. In May, Castro won four 2010 Blues Music Awards -- more than any other artist -- including, for the second time in his career, the coveted B.B. King Entertainer of the Year Award (the very highest award a blues performer can receive) as well as the award for Contemporary Blues Male Artist of the Year, Contemporary Blues Album of the Year (for Hard Believer) and Band of the Year.

TwistedBlues harmonica master /singer/songwriter Rick Estrin and his band The Nightcats, touring in support of their debut CD, Twisted, will perform in Port Townsend on November 12 and in Seattle on November 13, 2010. For more than 30 years and nine albums, Estrin fronted the jumping, swinging Little Charlie & The Nightcats, featuring guitarist Little Charlie Baty. With Baty’s recent retirement from touring, Estrin—along with the Nightcats’ longtime rhythm section of J. Hansen and Lorenzo Farrell and a new member, fiery guitarist Kid Andersen—has taken the lead on his own.

Locations, times and other information for these shows can be found at the Blues Events page on this blog.
